Presidential Debate and Election 2018

We had a debate to decide which candidate would be elected as class president today. Each candidate spoke and they answered questions from the floor. Each child in 6th class got a ballot paper and voted for their class president. Congratulations to our democratically elected class president. This activity will help us to understand the election process we learned about in Geography. Well done to our chairperson who did an excellent job of chairing the debate today. Thanks to Mr Coppinger for doing the count. Our president was elected on the third count as it was a very close contest. Well done to all of the candidates.
