Volcano Experiment With the Junior Infants 2018 (Materials and Change 6th Class)

We invited the Junior Infants to our room today and we taught them about a chemical  reaction. We mixed Acetic acid (vinegar) and Bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) together and added red food colouring to make it look like real lava. The Junior Infants loved to see the volcanoes erupting.
