Miners at work in Ross island 2018

We are learning about the miners at Ross Island and how they lived. We worked as miners to show how the stone was collected, heated, crushed and smelted to extract the copper. We dressed up using our props and we made props to add to our dramas. Drama helps us to understand our history better.
