Rocket Launch Experiment 2018

In Science we did a brilliant experiment to demonstrate Newton's Third Law of Motion. This law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. We blew up balloons and we filled them with gas. When we let the balloon go, the gas went out the back and our rocket went in the opposite  direction. To test Newton's second law we added cargo to our balloons. We tried toppers, rubbers, pencils and bottle tops We discovered that the more weight we added to the rocket the more force that was needed to launch it. This demonstrated Newton's second law that Force = Mass x Acceleration.
