Under The Hawthorn tree Drama 2017

We finished our class novel. It is called Under the Hawthorn Tree by Marita Conlon Mc Kenna. It is set in Ireland during the Great Famine of 1845- 1849. To develop empathy with the characters, we did role plays in our drama class. We chose  an event from the story to dramatise. We wrote a character profile about the three main characters in our English class. We designed a new cover for the book . It is an excellent story.
