Life in Ancient Greece (14-9-2016)
We are learning all about life in ancient Greece in History this week and we did drama activities to help us remember what life was like. We are very good at making our own props to enhance our dramas!
We acted out the slaying of the Minotaur by Theseus.
Poor Pheidippides collapsed and died when he reached Athens!
Life in sparta was harsh and cruel!
Pericles encouraging the artists, potters and poets to do their best.
Only boys and men were allowed to participate in plays in the Greek theatres.
The boys are complaining about having to dress up as girls!
Athenian women complaining about their hard lives!
