In Glenosheen Drama Activities (7-9-2016)


We are learning about the village of Glenosheen in History and to help us remember the many facts, we got into groups today and did role plays to help us remember them. Drama helps us to learn and it is so much fun.




Silver Oliver invited the Palatine families to live on his land.




Oisín is supposed to have fallen off his horse in Glenosheen and St Patrick baptised him before he died.




Oisí's tomb is on the summit of Seefin mountain.

Now we were the French army about to invade the region around the Rhine river. A clever use of props!



The Palatines have to pack up and head off to Rotterdam as they are seeking refuge.
