Walk The Line 2016

We are learning about directed numbers in Maths and to help us to understand positive and negative numbers, we got into groups and we drew gigantic number lines outside on the yard. We had a worksheet to complete and we had to walk the number line to help us to understand the sums. 

We had to fill in the worksheet outside and walking the line helped us to understand hard problems like -4-5= -9

The Maths got harder and harder!

We love doing Maths outside in the sun.
