Preparing For Colour Run 2016

In Science today we made the colour mixture for the colour run which will be held on Friday the 10th of June. It is part of the Sky Sport's Challenge that the 6th class are involved in.

 We used cornflour, water and food dye. We added a bit of water to a foil tray. We gradually added food colouring and cornflour until we got the mixture to a sticky paste. We mixed it well to make sure there were no lumps in it. Ms Giblin taught us how to make it. Thank you to Ms Giblin for going shopping for the foil trays, cornflour and food colourings. It was a very messy job but we loved messing with it! We have to leave it to thicken up in the foil trays until Thursday evening. Science is messy at times!
