Me Mollser

I thought this play was a really good idea, because it was an interesting take on the 1916 Rising, and it was an in-depth and captivating view of Dublin's less glamorous history. It was sad and funny at the same time, and Mollser was a likable and happy person despite her impending doom. Her whole world revolved around the tenement where she lived and the other people who lived there, and that was really cleverly represented in the play. I felt real empathy for Mollser, and I felt kind of guilty that I have so much, and that there were real-life people like Mollser who were alive during the Rising - and who are still alive today - who have practically nothing. The ending was so simple, and so sad, and it made me think about the Rising, and about poverty, and about how lucky I am.

I thought Mollser's story was wonderful. The costumes were very good and the props were simple but very effective. I urge you to do more plays like this one. I  really enjoyed MeMollser.
Alicia is an amazing and talented actress. She brought the 1913 - 1916 alive in a sad, happy and interesting way. I felt like I was there as she told us her story. This story is amazing and very good. Thank you for giving me this wonderful experience.

I thought Mollser's story was very intriguing. I felt really frustrated when I found out how little they had and how much we have. It definitely made me realise how lucky I am to have so much. Alicia was a tremendous actress and she showed she really understood her character and made me really understand with what was going on. The show was so realistic. Before the show , I didn't fully understand what 1916 was about but now I fully understand. I really enjoyed the show and I would highly recommend it.

I really liked the show today and it taught me a lot about conditions in 1916. It made me feel guilty because I have so much and she had nothing. The actress was great. In the show, Mollser lived in a tenement. She had no shoes. Children didn't have many rights in 1916 and most didn't get educated. Her dad had died. She caught T.B. At the end, she looked at her grave and knew where she was meant to be. I loved the show and learned a lot.

I thought Mollser's story was amazing. I really felt empathy for her while she was acting. It felt so real and she really got into the character of Mollser. It made me realise how little or no rights they had back then. And the fact that it was ok for a teacher to take food of a little child even though it might be there only food made me really angry. It made me open up my eyes more and realise what went on back in 1916. It made me more thankful for the rights we have today.

I thought Mollser's story was fantasic. It made me feel how lucky I am for everything I have because Mollser's didn't even have shoes. Also I felt so sorry for Mollser as she had very little but still was happy with the little things she did have. Mollser's story also showed me how much freedom we have as kids, We are very lucky for all the food we have, as one lunch that we have a day, would have to do Mollser for a whole week if not more. Ifeel very proud of all the people that fought for our country as we now have freedom and rights and we are our own country plus we get to learn our Irish language in school.

I thought that Mollser's story was very sad. I was also very angry how she was so poor and how someone bigger than her could take her food and how she got TB at such a young age. I was very sympathetic when she coughed up blood and realised that she had died of TB. Now I realise how lucky I am for having shoes, a nice house, proper clothes and rights. I felt very sorry for all of the poor people in Dublin in 1916 and I couldn't ever imagine ten people fitting into one tiny room. I loved the show and I learned a lot.
