Thanks to Luke, Ethan and Mark for starting this weeks Teach the Teacher with a blast. They demonstrated when hydrogen peroxide and yeast mix the hydrogen peroxide breaks down rapidly into water and oxygen gas. The oxygen gas forms bubbles. When they added soap the bubbles got trapped with surface tension and created lots of foam. This foam looked like a giant squeeze of toothpaste ~ almost big enough for an elephant!
